Just wanted to share a bit about a new 3-session workshop I’m teaching this month. There are still a few slots open, so if you are interested, please either shoot me an email (candee@bright.net) or contact Amanda (information posted below). I’m really excited about this one. Here’s the description.
So many of us want to find a way to express our ideas and understand our experiences but haven’t figured out the path or medium to make it happen. In three intensive sessions, we will start with questions about the experiences and themes that we each want to explore. What experience resonates with you? What issue are you passionate about? What question are you living with? We will use reflective writing and bridging techniques as a way into the work. We will create at least one painting and incorporate techniques with mixed media, fabric, watercolor, texture, pattern and composition. Be prepared for a contemplative and relaxed session.
